I am an illustrator and designer drawn to storytelling, play, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed—like the small, joyful moments found in everyday life.

My work carries a childlike spirit—free, curious, and playful—while still being thoughtfully composed and crafted. I’m especially inspired by children’s stories, the natural world, and the ways faith and wonder shape how we see and experience the world.
I work across a variety of styles and processes, from layered, textured compositions to bold, simplified designs. With a background in graphic design and interactive digital design, I use tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop alongside traditional methods to bring ideas to life.
Whether creating illustrations, design projects, or personal work, I aim to make visuals that feel joyful, engaging, and well-crafted. I value attention to detail, organization, and thoughtful execution, and I enjoy collaborating while exploring creative possibilities. Above all, I want my work to communicate, spark curiosity, and invite a sense of joy and discovery.
Life, for me, has been shaped by both joyful moments and deep loss—and by the people who have walked with me through both. Some moments light-filled and playful, others quieter, shaped by memory and change. These moments often find their way into my work, sometimes clearly, sometimes in more subtle ways.
Some pieces emerge from lighthearted places, while others are rooted in memory, love, and the people who have shaped my life. Together, they form an ongoing collection—moments held in time, both playful and deeply felt.
Sleepy self-portrait on the way home from Maryland, near a foggy creek in Virginia – early morning March 29, 2026.

A quiet beginning, wrapped in fog and soft light—somewhere between where I’ve been and where I’m going, now alongside Ryan.
One more day without you – September 20, 2023

Light returns, even on the days that feel the longest.
Journie says good morning

January 2022
Grief has a presence of its own—felt in stillness, in routine, in the spaces where something is missing.

Journie’s last time to see you, she danced and leapt for joy. I remembered that today—her pure joy at your return. I hold onto that moment, and the hope of a reunion just as full of joy.

Our last December with Bobby, 2020.
Some moments only reveal their weight with time. These are the moments that continue to shape how I create.
